2014-06-18_0724How does that old saying go?  “If you can’t tie a knot, tie a lot.”.  Tis true, tis so very true.  I see it almost every survival class that I teach.  That is why we have started taking extra time in all of my classes to show some useful knots.  You do not not have to be an expert knot tying person to trudge outdoors.  However if you spend much time at all out there camping, hunting, bushcrafting, fishing and more you will find that a few useful knots will make your life a lot easier.  I put this video together back in the winter and had forgotten about it until now.  So check it out and disregard my cold weather gear for a few moments.

Here are the knots in order that I show in the video.

  1. Half hitch.
  2. Fisherman’s knot.
  3. Prusik
  4. Trucker’s hitch
  5. Clove hitch
Come on, join in, let’s learn together!
